Michelle Cline

Michelle has been involved with childcare since her high school years working in her Mom’s in-home daycare.  After graduating from high school, Michelle received her Associates degree in Business Management and worked in various jobs for the next few years.  She had a baby girl in 2010 and continued to work with the in-home daycare.  She attended The Florida Institute of Ultrasound in Pensacola, Florida in 2016, where she studied and graduated with a Certificate in Sonorgaphy.

Upon her return to Maine in 2017, Michelle and Bella began attending and working at Cradle Inn Daycare as the Assistant Director.  She became the Director of the Daycare in early 2020.  She continues to improve herself in the Early Childhood Education field as she completes at least 30 credit hours each year in various topics of childhood behavior, daycare operations, personnel and business management.

 

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND IN CHILDCARE?

I started working with children when I was old enough to babysit.  I have been a Nanny for a few families and worked in daycare centers as well as an in home daycare.  I am also a mother to a 7 year old daughter.

 

WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING WITH CHILDREN?

Children are a joy to work with.  Watching them grow into their own little selves is my favorite.  There are always snuggles throughout the day.

 

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR OTHER INTERESTS AND HOBBIES?

Fishing, taking Bella to dance, soccer and swimming.  Reading
